One thing we love most about travel is how many ways there are to see the world. Travel’s heaviest hitters can be seen in entirely new ways if you try. Take California for example, have you ever thought about its small towns? You should. Or what about just seeing a city from an entirely new perspective? I’m now convinced I need to take a hop-on, hop-off bus the next time I go to New York. And just beyond its borders, Tulum becomes more than a beach lounging destination. Which leads us to wonder, what really is the best city in the UAE? The jury is still out on whether Dubai or Abu Dhabi is truly the winner, but we think you’ll know which one is for you.

Abu Dhabi vs. Dubai: should you visit UAE’s ‘stuffy uncle’ or ‘sophisticated aunt’?
Sophisticated and incredibly cultured, Abu Dhabi sounds like a dream, but adventurous, diverse and slightly less stuffy, Dubai seems like the definition of fun. We in the office are split about which one takes the proverbial cake so we’ll let you choose your favorite. Our advice? Go to both.
California virtually defined summer-style, but have you thought about checking out the mountains in the winter? And that’s not the only way to see something unexpected in this incredibly varied state. It’s time to revisit a perennial favorite.
We know you know all about Tulum’s boho vibes and drop dead gorgeous beach, but did you know it’s also a prime spot for adventurers? Go underground to scuba dive through connected cenotes or paddle board through the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve just to name two.
Sometimes the travel question you have is just, surprise me. We can do that. Why not check out this gem of a town in Northeast England? Durham has charm for days, deep history and even a connection to Harry Potter. Trust us, it’s worth it.
