It took me a few years, but I finally got a permit to do the gorgeous Kalalau Trail along Kauaʻi’s coast. I’m not going to lie, between setting alerts to snag one of the coveted 60 daily permits to tracking down camping gear, it’s had a few more moving parts than I originally expected.
