While exploring we discovered that the hike to Exit Glacier in Kenai Fjords National Park has amazing views, but is also an incredible way to see a glacier up close and really understand how it shaped the land and how it is receding. - Sarah Stocking, Destination Editor | | | I got married in Portugal in September and invited my closest friends to decompress after in Marvão. We stayed at Quinta do Barrieiro just to spend a day next to the marble pool. Stop at Natural Bar for the perfect sunset with petsicos and ice-cold Vinho Verde. - Erin Lenczycki, Photo Editor | | | Last month, I went camping in Botswana’s Okavango Delta. You’ll likely fly into Maun, which has quite a tiny airport, so I recommend walking across the street and fueling up at The Duck Cafe. Don’t forget to pack neutral-colored clothes so you can camouflage yourself! - Deepa Lakshmin, Social Media Director | | | I was lucky enough to be there for its annual Roman and Carthaginians Festival where thousands of people re-enact the Battle for Qart-Hadasht on the very field it's believed to have occurred.
